1. Analyze the changes in the current environment and future, inside and outside of UiTM, which affect the strategic direction of the university.
2. Collect and provide strategic information as a basis for decision-making and the formulation of the university’s strategic planning.
3. Formulate UiTM’s short term (5 years) and long term (10 years) strategic direction.
4. Ensure effective implementation of strategic plan initiatives and achievement of outcome.
5. Act as source of reference for university official information.

MISSION

To enhance the knowledge and expertise of Bumiputeras in all fields of study through professional programmes, research work and community service based on moral values and professional ethics.

VISION

To establish UiTM as a premier university of outstanding scholarship and academic excellence capable of providing leadership to Bumiputeras dynamic involvement in all professional fields of world-class standards in order to produce globally competitive graduates of sound ethical standing.

PHILOSOPHY

Every individual has the ability to attain excellence through the transfer of knowledge and assimilation of moral values so as to become professional graduates capable of developing knowledge, self, society and nation.

BTU is committed and hereby promises to deliver quality services for the following:

1. To provide Five Year Strategic Plan of UiTM within 6 months following official launching as a guide and reference for the Center of Responsibility;
2. To assist Center of Responsibility in the preparation of its strategic plan within 6 months after the Malaysian Plan of UiTM has been finalized;
3. To evaluate and disseminate the progress of achievement on each of the Center of Responsibility strategic plan at least once a year;
4. To furnish periodically related strategic information to UiTM’s Board of Directors as well as the University’s Executive Council;
5. To provide feedbacks to clients related to their applications for information within 3 working days;
6. To make available information related to contribution of UiTM within the context on empowerment of Bumiputera agenda.
