MACHANG, 7 November - UiTM Cawangan Kelantan (UiTMCK) has hosted the International Matching Grant MoA signing ceremony between UiTMCK and Mae Fah Luang University (MFLU), Thailand and Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia (UGM) on the 2nd of November 2022 (Wednesday). The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr Haji Abdol Samad Nawi, Rector of UiTMCK and participated by the top management of UiTMCK. MFLU Thailand was represented by Dr Piyatida Pianluprasidh, Dean of the School of Management and Assistant Professor Dr Dej-anan Bungkilo, Associate Dean of the School of Management. While UGM Indonesia was represented by Professor Dr Didi Achjari, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, Vice Dean of Research, Community Services, Cooperation, and Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Professor Dr Nurul Indarti, Project Leader, Head of Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business.
UiTMCK and MFU Thailand has agreed to collaboratively conduct an international research entitled “Are Key Audit Matters Valued by Investors? Evidence from Malaysia and Thailand”. The research will be led by Associate Professor Dr Marziana Madah Marzuki from the Faculty of Accounting UiTMCK, alongside Assistant Professor Dr Dej-anan Bungkilo, from the School of Management, of MFU Thailand, respectively. Furthermore, another international research collaboration entitled “The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Dynamic Capabilities on the Adoption of Digital Technology among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) In Malaysia And Indonesia” led by Dr Wan Marhaini Wan Omar from the Faculty of Business and Management UiTM, together with Professor Dr Nurul Indarti, from the Faculty of Economics and Business, of UGM Indonesia will also be conducted as agreed by both universities via the MoA signed.
UiTMCK, MFLU and UGM will keep their proactive efforts to form more international partnerships and collaborations with the higher education institutes around the world to achieve global academic excellence.
