Sharing with Professionals: Audit Quality Through The Lens of Malaysian and Indonesian Practitioners

MACHANG, 24 March – A hybrid seminar was held on 18th January 2025 titled "Sharing with Professionals: Audit Quality Through the Lens of Malaysian and Indonesian Practitioners". The seminar was co-organized by Faculty of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy Students (Part 1 & Part 2) and ACnian Scholar of Master of Accountancy (ASMAcc).

The guest speaker was Dr. Keulana Erwin, an Indonesian Public Accountant, with more than 20 years of experience in audit and assurance. Currently, he is an Assurance Partner at Johannes Juara & Rekan and is a Member of Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI) and Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI).

The session was moderated by Dr. Noor Marini Haji Abdullah as the Lecturer in Charge of Seminar in Auditing Course. The participants consist of Master of Accountancy students taking the subject of Seminar in Auditing. The seminar was also joined by Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) students.

The program offers participants a comprehensive perspective on audit quality, addressing industry challenges, global standards and ethics, while empowering them to excel as future practitioners or academicians through latest updates on issues encompassing national and international landscapes.
