MACHANG, 18 MAY – UiTM Cawangan Kelantan (UiTMCK) had the privilege of hosting an official international visit from Prof. Yao Dan, Vice President, and Miss Wang Huan, Director of the International Affairs Office, representing Quanzhou Vocational and Technical University (QVTU) in China.
The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Haji Abdol Samad Nawi, the esteemed Rector of UiTMCK, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Nasir Ismail, Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs, Mr. Meer Zhar Farouk Amir Razli, Deputy Rector of Student Affairs, Dr. Norzieha Mustapha, Deputy Rector of Research, Industrial Linkages, and Alumni, as well as the Heads of Faculties at UiTMCK.
The primary focus of this official visit revolved around the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UiTMCK and QVTU with an aim to foster international cooperation and collaboration across various domains, including academic staff exchanges, student mobility programs, joint research endeavors, and cultural exchange initiatives.
The signed MoU between UiTMCK and QVTU serves as a tangible testament to the strategic and substantial partnerships established between these esteemed institutions. Both entities demonstrate a steadfast commitment to allocating additional resources towards augmenting knowledge and cultivating extensive collaborative endeavors to effectively address forthcoming challenges. UiTMCK and QVTU have mutually agreed to closely collaborate in their concerted efforts to advance the internationalization of education and optimize novel prospects for the collective advantage of both universities.
