MACHANG, 2 November - The Department of International Affairs (DIA) and Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB) UiTM Kelantan Branch have successfully organised a program, “International Lecture Series 1: Teaching for Intercultural Competence: What, Why and How? with Dr Khaishan Kong” on the 25th of August, 2022. Dr Kaishan Kong, an Associate Professor from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, United State of America was invited to deliver her lectures on the theme of intercultural communication. The lecture was streamed live via the official YouTube channel of UiTM Kelantan Branch and managed to record 2685 views from viewers of various backgrounds from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, and Thailand.
The purpose of this event is to expose academicians and students to the significance of intercultural communication in enhancing their journey of teaching and learning in a borderless setting. Besides, this event also ought to invigorate the international knowledge-sharing culture among the academicians and students of higher education institutions around the globe. Department of International Affairs, UiTMCK will continue the journey to organise various programs and activities that involved international knowledge sharing.
