MACHANG, 10 June – The Diploma in Public Administration Club (DiPAC) of the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies organised a MUET Workshop program. The program was held from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Block D lecture hall, AUD300. Furthermore, the MUET Workshop program consisted of two sessions; the first session was on 7 June 2026 (Sunday), while the second session was on 8 June 2026 (Monday). A total of 36 students attended the first session, while 14 students were recorded as attending the second session. The program content was delivered by Madam Rohazlyn Rosly, Senior Lecturer, Academic Centre, UiTM Kelantan Branch. The program consisted of four modules which were Oral & Spontaneous Communication, Reading & Information Processing, Strategic Note-Taking & Listening, Email & Letter Mastery, and Advanced Essay Construction.
The aim of this program was to open opportunities for UiTM Kelantan students to master high-quality techniques and strategies in facing the MUET examination. Additionally, it aimed at assisting diploma students in enhancing their English proficiency to meet the qualification requirements for degree programmes and productive careers. Furthermore, building a platform for students to boost their self-confidence in using English as one of the primary communication languages in the industry.
The first session began with the arrival of the guest of honour, followed by the singing of the national anthem, Negaraku, and the UiTM song, Wawasan Setia Warga UiTM. Then, the session continued with the first slot teaching activity, which was Oral & Spontaneous Communication, which was delivered successfully by Madam Rohazlyn Rosly. She highlighted time management as a key factor in the MUET speaking test which could help students deliver impactful points without wasting precious time. The session proceeded with the second slot, which was Reading & Information Processing. Students engaged in targeted reading exercises during the slot to instantly test and evaluate their comprehension. This was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged with Madam Rohazlyn Rosly to clarify doubts and gather extra tips.
Next, the second session started with the presentation of appreciation certificates to MUET Workshop Speakers, Madam Rohazlyn Rosly by Ms. Umairah Syahmina Nurul Amin, President of the Diploma in Public Administration Club (DiPAC). The speaker delivered invaluable insights on tackling the writing and listening components with ease. To conclude, Madam Rohazlyn Rosly offered inspiring words of encouragement for the students' MUET journey, followed by a lively group photo session to capture the memorable day.
Throughout the program, students showed great enthusiasm and focused attention. The committee warmly thanked both the students and Madam Rohazlyn Rosly for a successful collaboration. Ultimately, we hope the practical techniques learned will be applied successfully to help students achieve their target MUET band.
